Meeting 7.02.24, “On the procedure for calculating time on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan" Place: School №16, time:12-00

In the supervised group: B053-5302-20-01, 4th year, curator N.M. Omarova, a meeting was held to explain the time zone change in Kazakhstan.
The earth was divided into 24 time zones (360°: 24 hours, the width of each zone is 15). The Greenwich meridian became the starting point. The belts are counted from west to east.
Difference between two adjacent zones: 1 hour.
As a positive fact, it was noted that the establishment of a single time zone will eliminate time barriers between residents of different regions of the republic, improve the coordination of transport communications, and have a beneficial effect on doing business and interaction between government bodies.
The 5th time zone (UTC+5) will be applied to the entire territory of the Republic. The government has made changes to the resolution “On the procedure for calculating time on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.” They decided to establish a single time zone from 00:00 on March 1, 2024.
How many time zones are there in Kazakhstan?
Today in Kazakhstan there are two time zones UTC+5 and UTC+6. Most of the country's territory (with the exception of the western regions) is located in the UTC+6 zone.
That, according to scientific consensus, it is best for health, economics, and human safety to use constant time zones that are as close to solar time as possible.
