
Report on the Research Work of 3rd-Year PhD Doctoral Students Educational Programs: 8D01103 – Pedagogy and Psychology, 8D01801 – Social Pedagogy

On May 20, 2025, a report on the research work of 3rd-year PhD doctoral students in the educational programs 8D01103 – Pedagogy and Psychology and 8D01801 – Social Pedagogy of the Department of Pedagogy at the Higher School of Education was presented.
The event was attended by: head of the department M.P. Asylbekova, Chairman of the Dissertation Council P. B. Seitkazy, Secretary of the dissertation Council S. D.Aubakirova, adviser G. B. Zhukenova, as well as scientific consultants of doctoral students K.K. Shalgynbayeva, K.R. Kalkeeva, S.N. Zhienbayeva, K.T. Atemova, F.N. Zhumabekova, N.P. Albytova, G.T. Urazbayeva and G.K. Sholpankulova.
At the end of the academic year, doctoral students successfully defended their research work conducted as part of their dissertation research. During the defense, questions were asked and a discussion was held by the faculty of the department.
The PhD students presented their research bases, methodological foundations, and the results obtained during their experimental work. The level of dissertation preparedness and the publication of research articles in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, as well as journals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Sphere of Education and Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KOKSON MES RK), and in proceedings of scientific and practical conferences, were also reviewed.
Based on the results of the research report, doctoral students received recommendations and suggestions, along with a positive assessment of the directions of their dissertation research.
The dissertation research topics within the educational programs “Pedagogy and Psychology” and “Social Pedagogy” are highly relevant and in demand, as they address contemporary challenges in education and social work. These studies play a crucial role in the advancement of the field by integrating scientific knowledge with practical applications of research ideas. The work of doctoral students not only contributes to the expansion of academic knowledge but also significantly enhances the quality of education and social support.
