
Doctoral Student of the Department of Pedagogy Took Part in the International Conference on Inclusion at RUDN University

From 22 to 23 May 2025 the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (PFUR) hosted the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “The contribution of universities to the development of inclusive culture in society”, organized with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO.
Nargiz Abenova, a 2nd year PHD student of L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University, was invited as an expert and took part in the pre-foresight session ‘Forecast scenarios and strategies for the development of cooperation in the field of inclusive education in Russia and CIS countries.
Within the framework of the session, she made a report on the topic:
‘Scientific and methodological support of tutoring support for children with autism spectrum disorder in adaptive tennis’.
The conference became a significant platform for the exchange of practices, interdepartmental cooperation and expansion of academic dialogue on the issues of accessibility and quality of education for people with special educational needs.
We thank the organizers for the high level of the event, the warm atmosphere and attentive attitude to each participant. We are especially grateful for the opportunity to present Kazakhstan's experience in the field of inclusive education on an international platform.
Following the conference Nargiz Abenova noted that participation in the foresight session became not only professional but also a personal point of growth. Working in the expert discussion strengthened the motivation for further development of inclusive practices in sport.
As part of continuing her scientific activities, Nargiz plans to prepare and publish a scientific and methodological manual for coaches working with children with autism spectrum disorders in adaptive tennis programs.
