Scientific seminar of the Department of «Computer Science and Automation»

PhD students of the 3rd year of the specialty "Information Security Systems" of the Department of "Information Security" of the Faculty of Information Technology Kuanysh Syzdykbayev and Arailym Yessenbayeva from November 26 to December 25, 2024 underwent a scientific internship at the University of Bielsko-Biala (Poland) under the guidance of a foreign consultant Dr. Habb., Eng. Professor Vasyl Martsenyuk. The doctoral students worked according to a pre-agreed plan on the topics of their dissertations.

Also during the scientific internship, they were heard at a meeting of the Department of Computer Science and Automation. Where the doctoral students talked about their research:

• Kuanysh Syzdykbaev presented his work on text encryption based on a chaotic sequence generated by a delayed RNN network with an attention mechanism.
• Arailym Yessenbayeva presented a study on image encryption using a chaotic sequence generated by an RNN network based on a lattice structure.

The doctoral students also presented information about the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, the Faculty of IT and the Department of Information Security.

As part of the internship, a meeting was also held with the Vice-Rector for Science and External Cooperation at the University of Bielsko-Biala Dr. Hab., Eng., Prof. UBB Mr. Krzysztof Brzozowski, where mutual intentions for fruitful further cooperation were expressed.
