A webinar will be held

On July 9 at 19:00 Astana time a webinar will be held on “Prospects for the introduction of small modular reactors in Kazakhstan and Central Asia: assessment of socio-economic prerequisites” according to the implementation plan of the project “Achieving public consensus in Kazakhstan on the economic feasibility and safety of nuclear energy production (with an emphasis on SMR)”, funded by FIRST (USA) within the framework of the International Science and Technology Center. This project is being implemented at the Faculty of International Relations of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University with the involvement of specialists in the field of nuclear energy and energy security who will share their visions of the problem at the webinar.

All persons interested in the issues of nuclear energy production in Kazakhstan, its socio-economic and technological aspects are invited.
