40th International Olympiad in Programming on the 1C

The Eurasian National University held a regional (full-time) round of the 40th International Olympiad in Programming on the 1C platform:Enterprise 8".
For the second year in a row, the Institute of Digital Sciences and Artificial Intelligence has hosted a regional (face-to-face) the round of the International Olympiad in Programming on the 1C platform:Enterprise 8". The participants completed the competition task for 4 hours.
As part of the "Dry Cargo" assignment, the students had to develop a solution for a marine logistics company: calculate the optimal loading option for a set of applicant cargoes, taking into account restrictions (including a ban on loading several cargoes of the same type and the requirement to accurately match the total cargo capacity of the vessel).
The solution was implemented in an external report/processing in the .erf/.epf format with the formation of the "Ship Loading Plan" report based on the "Transportation Order" document.
The Olympiad was conducted by certified 1C teachers Gulmira Bayenova (Department of KIPI) and Aidan Akhmetov (Department of IP) together with 1C representative Asset Abdygaparov, which ensured uniform requirements for the performance and evaluation of work, as well as the maximum practical focus of the competition.
According to the results of the face-to–face round, the winners of the 4th year students were determined:
1st place - Daniel Kudobaev;
2nd place – Muratbekuly Aidos.
The winners of the regional round will represent the university in the semi-finals of the competition.
International Programming Olympiad on the 1C platform:Enterprise 8 is a competition focused on practical automation and development tasks that are as close as possible to real–world cases. The Olympiad helps students develop algorithmic and engineering thinking, teaches them how to work with data and make correct decisions in a limited time. This is an important preparation for the real challenges of the digital economy.
