On April 10, the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Theoretical Problems of Modern Literary Studies and Structural-Phenomenological Research» will be held at ENU

Dear colleagues!

On April 10, 2026, Department of Kazakh Literature of the Faculty of Philology of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University holds the International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “Theoretical Issues of Modern Literary Studies and Structural-Phenomenological Research” dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the distinguished poet, literary scholar, and Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhanat Askerbekkyzy Aimukhambet. Foreign and domestic scholars, writers, and public figures are invited to the Conference.

The Conference will have the following sections:

Section 1: Authorial Identity in Contemporary Kazakh Poetry: Poetic Text and Artistic System (based on the poetry of Zhanat Askerbekkyzy)

Section 2: Structural-Phenomenological Research in Modern Literary Studies

Section 3: Anthropology and Mythology at the Intersection of the Humanities

Section 4: Philological Research Directions (based on the studies of young scholars)

Time and venue: Academic and Administrative Building of ENU, Room 206, 10:00 a.m.

Conference languages: Kazakh, Russian, English, and Turkic. Papers accepted for the Conference will be published in the conference proceedings.

Applications and articles should be submitted electronically as separate files. The file name should start with the participant's surname.

The article formatting instructions are provided in Appendix 2.

The organizing committee has the right to select the publishing materials.
