Abstract (English): Relevance of the research. At the present stage of educational development, the training of teaching staff capable of working effectively in a dynamically changing environment has become one of the pressing issues. However, the traditional system of training does not fully ensure the formation of sufficient practical skills in future specialists, particularly teaching personnel. In this regard, the issue of improving the methodological foundations of teacher training in the context of dual education is determined by the structural transformation of the education system, the growing demands of the labor market, and the increasing complexity of the content of pedagogical activity. Dual education is regarded as an effective system that ensures the professional development of future specialists by integrating theoretical knowledge with professional practice. International experience demonstrates that this approach is effective when implemented on the basis of stable partnership between higher education institutions and the professional environment. The State Mandatory Standard of Higher and Postgraduate Education clearly emphasizes orientation toward learning outcomes, the strengthening of practical training, and the formation of professional competencies. In addition, the Concept for the Development of Higher Education and Science in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023–2029 highlights the need to align education with labor market demands, strengthen practice-oriented learning, and develop digital technologies. At the same time, the regulations governing the organization of dual education clearly define the interrelation of theoretical training, workplace-based training, professional practice, and mentoring. Nevertheless, the scientific and methodological adaptation of dual education to the system of teacher training remains insufficiently developed. In the context of pedagogical training, dual education is based on the interrelation between theoretical knowledge acquired at the university and practical activity carried out at a partner school: students acquire subject-specific and methodological knowledge at the university, while at the partner school they conduct lesson fragments and gradually enter pedagogical practice. In this regard, the present research is aimed at improving the quality and effectiveness of training future informatics teachers in the context of dual education, as well as adapting teacher training to the conditions of digital transformation in education. Research on dual education in Kazakhstan has been conducted systematically since 2015. These studies have addressed the methodological foundations of organizing dual education, mechanisms of social partnership, practice-oriented models, and ways of developing professional competencies. However, most of these works focus on the system of technical and vocational education. In contrast, in the training of future teaching staff, including future informatics teachers, a comprehensive system integrating the content-related and methodological components of dual education has not yet been sufficiently developed. In foreign research, dual education has been widely examined through the experiences of Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, Finland, and Russia. These works provide a thorough analysis of the potential of the dual system to improve the quality of professional training, its role in integrating theory and practice, and the significance of mentoring and social partnership. Kazakhstani scholars have also substantiated dual education as an important condition for improving the professional training of future teachers. However, the conducted analysis has shown that dual education has mainly been examined in technical fields, whereas the content-related, organizational, and methodological mechanisms of professional interaction between universities and schools in the training of future informatics teachers for school settings remain insufficiently studied. In this regard, the following contradictions have been identified: – the contradiction between the theoretical substantiation of dual education and the insufficient systematic methodological support for its implementation in the process of teacher training; – the contradiction between the need to integrate pedagogical theory and school practice and the insufficient availability of an effective digital educational platform capable of linking them; – the contradiction between the importance of practice-based professional development in the context of dual education and the insufficient development of future teachers’ skills in systematic professional reflection. These contradictions determine the relevance of the research problem and necessitate the scientific substantiation of effective ways to improve the methodological foundations of training future teacher trainees in informatics under conditions of dual education. The significance of this problem served as the basis for defining the research topic «Improvement of the methodological base for training teachers of dual education» The aim of the research is to provide a theoretical substantiation for improving the methodological foundations of teacher training in dual education and to prove its effectiveness experimentally on the basis of a digital educational platform integrating theory and practice. The object of the research: the educational process in a higher education institution. The subject of the research: improvement of the methodological foundations of training future informatics teachers under conditions of dual education. The hypothesis of the research: if the theoretical foundations of teacher training in higher education institutions through dual education are identified, a scientific and practical model is developed and introduced into the higher education system, and a special digital educational platform aimed at improving the educational process is used, then, under contemporary societal demands, the effectiveness of organizing dual education at the university level will increase and the quality of teacher training will improve. This is due to the fact that the process of teacher training in higher education under conditions of dual education will be aligned with the requirements of social partners, namely schools. The objectives of the research: 1. To determine the scientific and methodological foundations for improving the methodological basis of teacher training in the context of dual education. 2. To develop a structural model for improving the methodological foundations of teacher training in dual education. 3. To identify and implement the practical foundations for improving the methodological basis of teacher training in dual education. 4. To create the software basis and a training environment for improving teacher training in dual education. 5. To conduct experimental work on improving the methodological foundations of teacher training in dual education, analyze the results, and prove the effectiveness of the experiment. The leading idea of the research: Improving the methodological foundations of training future informatics teachers in the system of dual education through the integration of the theoretical and practical components of the educational process and the alignment of training with the needs of educational institutions. The methodological and theoretical foundations of the research: Modern philosophical principles of educational development; learner-centered, systemic, activity-based, and competence-based approaches; the theory of integration of professional education; the concept of dual education; the theory of pedagogical process modeling; the theory of professional competence formation; the concepts of reflective and practice-oriented learning; the ideas of continuous teacher education; as well as the principles of educational development under conditions of digital transformation. The sources of the research: Philosophical, psychological, and pedagogical scientific works of domestic and foreign scholars devoted to issues of dual education, the dual education system, activity, pedagogical activity, and readiness for professional activity; resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the introduction of dual education in technical and vocational education organizations and in the field of education; concepts, state programs, and normative documents of the Ministry of Education and Science on the development of secondary and higher professional education; and best practices of domestic and foreign psychologists and educators based on their scientific achievements. The research methods: – theoretical methods (analysis, comparison, and modeling of domestic and foreign psychological-pedagogical, scientific-methodological, and specialized literature on the research topic, the State Compulsory Standard of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, educational programs in the field of informatics teacher training, and the standard curriculum for postgraduate education); – empirical methods (observation, questionnaires, and surveys); – statistical methods (conducting experimental work and processing its results). The main research base: Uzbekali Zhanibekov South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University, Shakarim University of Semey. The stages of the research: Stage 1 (2021–2022 academic year) – the research topic was identified, and on this basis the scientific framework of the research was developed, including the substantiation of the relevance of the topic, the determination of the aim and objectives of the research, its scientific novelty, research hypothesis, as well as the object of the research and its base. Within the framework of the topic under consideration, a systematic review of articles and literature published in domestic and foreign scientific publications was conducted. Best practices of dual education in the educational process of higher education institutions and their effectiveness were analyzed. The educational process of several higher education institutions was selected as the object of the research, and students enrolled in the relevant educational programs were introduced to the purpose and content of the experiment and divided into experimental and control groups. Stage 2 (2022–2023 academic year) – psychological and pedagogical conditions ensuring the psychological, theoretical, and practical preparation of future informatics teachers for professional activity under conditions of dual education were identified. A structural model for developing future teachers’ readiness for professional activity under conditions of dual education was designed. Based on the use of the educational platform in training future informatics teachers under conditions of dual education, instructional materials were developed and implemented in the educational process. Stage 3 (2023–2024 and 2024–2025 academic years) – the results of the experimental research were summarized, analyzed, and statistically processed. The obtained results were systematized and incorporated into the dissertation materials. The scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the research: 1.
