
ENU students took part in the work of the Eurasian Scientific School

Teachers and students of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship at L.N. Gumilev ENU took part in the IV Eurasian Scientific School "The Space of the World Economy: Ideas, Strategies, interaction", organized at the RUDN with the support of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
ENU was represented by Associate Professor Jamila Seitkhozhina, students of the Department of Economics, Economics of Entrepreneurship and Business Ayana Berdibek Shakhnoza Shamshidin, Aisha Umargali and Diana Ermagambetova.
The school was attended by teachers and undergraduate students from universities of the EAEU member states (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia) and the EAEU observer country (Uzbekistan).
The opening of the scientific school started on November 27 in the conference hall of the RUDN Faculty of Economics, where participants met, students joined teams to complete a collective project and a business game. The basis for the formation of teams was the principle of uniting students from different countries into a single team. The Kazakhstan team, in addition to students from Astana and Almaty, was represented by guys from Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan and China.
The program of the school was very intense: every day the participants listened to lectures by expert speakers – leading experts in the field of economics, science and business.
On November 28, a business game "Microprocessor Market of the EAEU countries" was held in the hall of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Economics of the RUDN, the main result of which was the agreement of the participating teams to maintain a zero tariff rate for the export and import of microprocessors in the EAEU space.
Excursion to the office of the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) took place, where participants met with EEC staff and a lecture by Deputy Director of the Integration Development Department E. Danilova.
In addition to daily studies, the participants of the school had a free excursion to the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. Teachers and students saw the world masterpieces of impressionist artists of the XIX-XX centuries.
Student projects on the topic "Export goods of the EAEU countries" were defended by participating teams of the Eurasian Scientific School. By the decision of the jury, the 1st place was awarded to the Kyrgyzstan team, in which Umargali Aisha, a 3rd–year student of the EP "Economics" of the participated.
