The Institute of Continuing Education conducted a training course for students in the direction of "HCIA Datacom"

Huawei Academy operates at L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University and, on the basis of a memorandum of understanding and cooperation, the Institute of Continuing Education together with the Department of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, from November 09 to December 07, 2023, a training course in the direction of "HCIA Datacom" was held for students of our university with the purpose of preparing for the exam for obtaining the international certificate HCIA Datacom – (Data Communication. Datacom certification) belongs to the category of ICT infrastructure certification, it is an updated version of Routing and Switching certification.

Within the framework of the program, students mastered the program of a theoretical and practical course: building the simplest IP networks, configuring Huawei devices, supporting local corporate networks, functions and services in local corporate networks, connecting to WAN, corporate network protection, corporate network management, IPv6 network support.

The training was conducted by the teacher of the Department of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Fayzrahman A.K., who was trained at Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan LLP and received an international instructor certificate.

At the end of the course, students were awarded certificates of completion of the course.

Note, the goal set by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to train his own highly qualified IT personnel is in line with the development strategy of Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan, a recognized flagship of information and communication infrastructure and intelligent devices.
