Expansion of dual-diploma programs of the Department of Chemistry on SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization Universities) and CIS NU (Commonwealth of Independent States Network Universities)

The main mission of the University of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is to provide coordinated training of highly qualified personnel on the basis of coordinated innovative educational programs in specialties of priority interest for the economic and social development of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states (hereinafter - SCO or the Organization).
Main objectives:
- Expanding the exchange of pupils, students, postgraduates, doctoral students and scientific and pedagogical workers;
- training of professional personnel for the implementation of joint projects in the SCO space, for joint response to socio-political, economic, environmental and other challenges;
- increasing scientific and academic cooperation;
- introduction of modern educational methods and technologies;
- creation of mechanisms for the recognition and equivalence of SCO University education documents by SCO member states and the world educational community.
The Department of Chemistry signed an agreement on joint training of personnel under joint educational programs (JEP) on USСО and SU CIS (Network Universities of the Commonwealth of Independent States) Master's degree programs.
Starting from 2024, the Department of Chemistry will train the JEP "Bioenergy and Biomass Processing Products" under the USEPA. Our partner universities in the USEPA are King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) SAUDI ARABIA (QS 160), Xi'an Jiaotong University CHINA (QS 302), Universidade Federal do Pará BRAZIL and Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.
Also, the Department of Chemistry has signed an agreement on joint training in the joint educational program (JEP) 7M05307 - Chemistry of Organic Substances and Petrochemistry of the SU CIS on a two-diploma program.
