
"Air Astana" airline pilot told ENU students about his profession

The L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted a meeting of students with Air Astana recruiter Inzhu Aueskhan and co-pilot Syrym Serik.

The speakers talked about how to become a pilot in Kazakhstan, the Ab-initio program and admission conditions, as well as about the activities of the leading airline in Kazakhstan, about employment opportunities and prospects for them.

Air Astana co-pilot, Syrym Serik, during his talks with students, said that candidates who have successfully passed all stages of selection will have the opportunity to study at the world's best educational institutions for pilots.
The students were also informed about the conditions of admission to work. Applicants for the position of an air pilot must be between 18 and 34, must be fluent in English and have good knowledge of physics and mathematics. The selection of participants is carried out regularly and consists of several stages.
Air Astana offers people with the necessary qualities and motivation to undergo professional training under the Ab-Initio pilot training program.
Future pilots study flight theory under the guidance of leading specialists, including specialists from world-renowned aircraft manufacturers, and receive training that meets high professional standards. Practical skills are practiced on high-tech simulators, and then attached to the steering wheel.
At the end of the meeting, the students asked their questions and received answers.
