
Silver Club was created at Silver University
Silver Club brought together like-minded people who want to continue learning throughout their lives. At a briefing organized by the Institute of Continuing Education together with ENU Ombudsman N. Shapekova, a constructive conversation took place on the topic “How it is easily to reach an active silver age.”
Speakers Zhenisgul Dayrabaeva, Saniya Baygalieva, Galia Kurakbaeva shared the secrets of reducing biological age, maintaining the beauty and elasticity of the skin, active movement of joints, joy and enjoyment of the wonderful period of active longevity.
The head of the PF "Fund for Continuing Education" and the international movement U3Akz, coordinator of the fund's silver volunteers, Gulbarshin Kasimanova, emphasized that the fund is always ready to support all people who like to lead an active lifestyle and maintain a positive outlook on life. She encouraged people aged 50+ to take part in the upcoming Silver University Ball, which will be dedicated to International Women's Day.
Raikhan Baimagombetova, a specialist at the Institute of Continuing Education, spoke briefly about the topics of ongoing and planned courses, called for sharing information, offering relevant and popular topics, identifying and awakening interest in the activities of the Silver University and Silver club.
The briefing participants got acquainted with the work of Aitbala Baimagambetova. The master demonstrated magnificent napkins, skullcaps, vests and other products knitted with her own hands. She told where new ideas and motives come from. Everyone was interested in the cultural history of other countries. There was a proposal to open a knitting course at Silver University.
During the musical break of the briefing, wonderful works were performed on the kobyz by Kundyzai Serikbayeva, a 3rd year student at Shabyt University.
Silver University students also shared their impressions. Thus, Symbat Akhmetova expressed gratitude to the organizers of the briefing, noting that they received a lot of positive information. She also suggested organizing courses for makeup artist, stylist, and fashion designer.
SU listener Elena Likhoshvan also noted that the briefing was interesting and useful. “I was interested in the topic of speech technique, I would also like to practice dancing and learn even more about proper nutrition from experienced specialists. New knowledge and communication is such a positive thing for me,” she said.
At the end of the briefing, Ombudsman Nelya Shapekova handed each participant cups of fertilizer and cereal seeds and explained the planting conditions. A number of proposals and new ideas were voiced.
