Head of the Military Training Department, Major General Yedil Urazov received students in the Public Reception Office of the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University and answered their questions.
The students asked to tell them about the conditions of admission and training at the Military Training Department. They were also interested in whether they would be called up for the army after graduating from the Military Training Department, in which structures they could work further and whether there was an opportunity to get a job in military organizations.
So, second-year students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Nurbek Izbasarov and Bekzat Chapai came to meet the General to find out if they could enter the Military Training Department with other faculty students, since they did not have time to submit documents at their faculty on time. Head of the Military Training Department promised to help this issue so that students could enroll in the Military Training Department. According to Yedil Urazov, studying military affairs at the university provides ENU graduates with many career opportunities, being officers and sergeants, they will be able to get a job in paramilitary and other law enforcement agencies in the future, besides the skills of the military profession will be useful to them in life.
Students were also interested in whether, at the end of the 2nd year, they could apply for sergeant training, as well as issues of tuition fees at the Military Training Department. Other students asked about the conditions under which those who have served in the army can enroll. Head of the Military Training Department, Major General Yedil Urazov, gave exhaustive answers to all these questions.
“We train reserve officers and sergeants in military accounting specialties at the Military Training Department. The recruitment of students to the Military Training Department is conducted on a competitive basis. In the 2022-2023 academic year, we resumed the training of officers of educational and ideological work, and also began training in new military accounting specialties “Information and Analytical Activities” and “Military Journalism”, as well as military financiers,” Yedil Urazov said, adding that training of military analysts, journalists and specialists in educational and ideological work. It will be carried out only according to the programs of reserve officers.
Head of the Military Training Department also noted that girls are also studying at the ENU Military Training Department, while showing brilliant results both theoretically and practically.
