10 facts about the Mahmud Kashgari encyclopedic dictionary are compiled by ENU Turkologist

This year marks the 950th anniversary of the publication of the world-famous encyclopedic dictionary of Mahmut Kashgari “Diwan lugat-al-turk”.  The significant year was included in the UNESCO list of memorable dates at the 42nd session of the UNESCO General Conference.

In this regard, the Digital group Kazakhstan Telearnasy has compiled 10 facts about the encyclopedic dictionary of Turkic words. The data were consulted and compiled by Associate Professor of the L. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, PhD, Turkologist Miras Kosybayev. The graphic reference book contains data related to the world-famous dictionary.
