The round table dedicated to the 135th anniversary of Zhusupbek Aymauytov

On February 12, a round table dedicated to the 135th anniversary of Zhusupbek Aymauytov was held by senior teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages Zhussupova G.M., Nurbekova G.Zh. in order to preserve and develop the native language, the formation of the sense of national pride in the language and culture. The event was attended by 1st year students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, speciality "Training of Mathematics Teachers"-15.

Objectives of this event:

- to determine new ways of forming multicultural personality in the process of familiarisation with national values on the basis of Zh. Aimauytov's artistic heritage;

- disclosure by students of the author's skill in portraying his lyrical hero;

- promotion of reading, increasing the role of Kazakh literature, education of patriotism.

During the conversation, students talked about the fact that the creative heritage of J. Aimauytov for many decades was under a ban. And only in 1988 the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan fully rehabilitated the great writer, in view of the absence of corpus delicti in his actions. Currently, the creative heritage of J. Aimauytov is a national treasure of the republic, his name has rightfully entered the golden fund of national culture and literature.

The students' presentation consisted of three main sections:

The first section presented the main works of the writer, his novels "Akbilek", "Kartkozha" and others. The second section was devoted to the activities of J. Aimautov as a participant of the "Alash" movement. The third section was devoted to literary materials on the writer's work.
