ENU hosted a master class on the development of the Institute of Corporate Secretaries in Kazakhstan and Central Asia

The Corporate Secretary Service of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, together with the Central Asian Association of Corporate Secretaries, held a master class “On the Development of the Institute of Corporate Secretaries in Kazakhstan and Central Asia".

More than 40 corporate secretaries of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan, employees of the quasi-public sector corporate governance, commercial organizations and banks, as well as bachelors, masters and doctoral students of ENU took part in the event in offline and online formats through the Zoom platform.

At the master class, the Corporate Secretary of the Eurasian National University, winner of the Republican Contest “Corporate Secretary of Kazakhstan – 2023” Madiyar Orynbayev spoke on the development of corporate governance at the university and shared his experience in implementing best corporate governance practices on the example ENU’s specific projects.

The CEO of the Central Asian Association of Corporate Secretaries, Jardem Kurmangaziyev, informed about the development of the Institute of Corporate Secretaries in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

The master class was a real arena for intellectual discussions. The most pressing issues in the field of corporate governance were discussed, and the seminar participants received not just answers to their questions, but comprehensive and inspiring solutions, as well as new ideas and practical recommendations that will be useful in their daily work.
