On the occasion of the Day of the Kazakhstani Science, a number of ENU employees were awarded awards

On the eve of the Day of the Kazakhstani Science, awards were presented to a number of university staff of the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

A solemn event was opened by ENU Rector Yerlan Sydykov. Congratulating his colleagues on Science Day, he stressed that the Head of State pays great attention to the development of domestic science, whose funding has recently increased 3 times. This issue is also a priority for the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

“Now the state allocates large funds for the development of science, including university science. In connection with the acquisition of the status of a research university, our university focuses on strengthening research. The task of research universities is to prepare high-level professionals and experts, scientists and researchers necessary for the economy. We must attract young people to science and identify talents among them. The University provides great support to young scientists, they are provided with all opportunities for their growth. But, I want to note that the research status needs to be proved by real deeds. It is not enough to build modern scientific laboratories, there must be scientists who will be engaged in scientific projects in these laboratories. I congratulate you on your professional holiday and wish you health and success in your scientific career!”, – Yerlan Sydykov said.

ENU Rector presented the badge of the Republic of Kazakhstan “For Merits in the Development of Science”  to a number of employees: Zagira Dyusembayevna Iskakova, Professor of the Finance Department, Masalimov Zhaksylyk Kairbekovich, head of the Biotechnology and Microbiology Department, Gulnara Tolevgazinovna Mussabalina, Acting Professor of the History of Kazakhstan Department, Lyailya Maratovna Mutaliyeva, head of the Tourism Department and Assel Yermekovna Jeksembayeva, Director of the Innovation Development Department.

An honorary diploma of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan was awarded to: Zhanat Askerbekkyzy Aimukhambet, a research teacher of the Kazakh Literature Department, Gulnar Userbayevna Birimkulova, Head of the Oriental Studies Department, Saniya Koptleuovna Toksanova, Acting Associate Professor of the Russian Philology Department, Sayan Berikovich Zhangazin, Deputy Dean for Science and Research of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Zhanbolat Anuarbekovich Shakhmov, Associate Professor of the Construction Department, Yermek Serzhanovich Komekbayev, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department.

Letters of gratitude from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan were awarded to: Kamshat Pazilbekovna Mussina, Associate Professor of the Tourism Department, Roza Jarassovna Akshalova, Acting Head of the International Law Department, Nurzada Amangeldy, a senior lecturer of the Artificial Intelligence Technologies Department, Janiyat Baizhumanovna Baltabayeva, a senior lecturer of the Pedagogy Department, Ainur Amangeldiyevna Dzhumabayeva, Acting Associate Professor of the Fundamental Mathematics Department, Yulia Sergeyevna Tokatlygil, a senior lecturer of the Psychology Department, Gulnaz Saginadinkyzy Saginadin, Acting Associate Professor of the Kazakh Literature Department.

A number of employees also received certificates on behalf of the Rector of ENU.
