How to write scientific articles
A scientific seminar within the framework of the course “Academic Writing” on the topic “Methods of writing a scientific article” was held at the Faculty of Philology of the Eurasian National University named after L. N. Gumilyov under the guidance of Professor of the Department of Kazakh Literature, Doctor of Philological Sciences Zhanat Aimukhambet.
The event was attended by high-ranking representatives from the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the head of the Committee of Archives, Documentation and Book Affairs Almaz Myrzakhmet, Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy of ENU, Doctor of Philosophy (Phd) Gulnaz Sagynadin, Head of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature of the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute named after Amangeldy Kusainov, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Associate Professor Aslan Alimbayev, as well as master's and doctoral students.
The workshop focused on a variety of aspects related to scientific writing. The conversation concerned not only the choice of topic for a scientific article, but also methods of its research, features of text structuring, definition of a hypothesis, as well as methodology for collecting and analyzing scientific information. Teachers and seminar participants discussed issues related to the selection of scientific publications for citation and the formation of a reference list.
This event played a key role in the exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of scientific writing, stimulating dialogue between specialists and researchers of philological science. It contributed to expanding professional horizons and improving the quality of research work in this area, which in the long term can lead to new discoveries and the development of philology as a scientific discipline.
