Adaptation is a whole system of various measures aimed at the earliest adaptation of an employee to new working conditions, joining a team, quick learning to perform their duties with maximum efficiency. Adaptation is an integral part of the mentoring procedure.
During the adaptation process, the mentor performs the developed unified plan of activities and confirms their implementation with appropriate grades. The plan includes 4 (four) sections that are mandatory for implementation (Appendix 2). Once filled in the unified plan of activities is sent to the Personnel Management.
The management of adaptation processes is within the competence of the structural unit.
Adaptation is considered to have begun from the moment the employee comes to work and a mentor is assigned.
The relationship between the mentor and the new employee
The mentor of the new employee shall:
- treat their duties in good faith and properly;
- be capable of constructive criticism;
- take the initiative and provide feedback regularly;
- provide consultations on current issues of employment for employees;
- monitor and direct the employee's work;
- provide methodological assistance when an employee uses legal acts and sources of information for work purposes;
- make suggestions and recommendations for improving the professional activities of the new employee.
During the mentoring period, the employee shall:
- study the Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regulations and other documentation within the professional activity and functional responsibilities;
- master the work on a high level;
- improve professional qualities, as well as general education and cultural level;
- periodically report to your mentor and direct supervisor.
Rights of the new employee:
- make suggestions for improving the work and mentoring;
- study the work assessment documentation and provide clarification;
- protect your interests.

Strengthening the role of the labour union committee of the ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov
Development and adoption of the Collective Agreement, agreements, social projects, and supervision of their implementation;
Participation in the development of measures for social and economic protection of the Labour Union members, provision of legal and advisory assistance, participation in the process of adoption of employer acts on the issues of determining the working conditions of employees as a whole;
Providing support in the organization of rehabilitation, and charitable material assistance to members of the Labour Union;
The work of the labour union committee is aimed at protecting the economic, social and other rights of workers and motivating labour union membership. Involvement of new members in the Union.
The social and economic direction is carried out through the Collective Agreement:
- public control over safety and working conditions;
- wages and labor: legal issues;
- training: conducting trainings, training seminars;
- working together with the Veterans Council and other community associations;

- protection of legal rights and interests of employees - members of the university labour union in relations with the administration within the framework of social partnership;

Support to a Union Member:
Charitable assistance is provided on the basis of a personal statement;
-Jubilee - (reaching the age of 60 years for women and 63 years for men);
- Re-establishment in sanatoriums of Kazakhstan once a year in the amount of 30% of the standard number price according to the approved fixed amount for the current year, if all the necessary financial documents from the sanatorium are available, indicating the personal data of the employee, a member of the Labour Union. Recreation centers, tourist trips are not included in the recovery profile and are not paid.
