About the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern trends in the development of legal science in the era of digitalization”

The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Trends in the Development of Legal Science in the Age of Digitalization” was held on April 13, 2024. The event brought together leading experts and scientists in the field of law to discuss current issues and challenges facing legal science in the context of digital development. Rector of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University Sydykov Erlan Battashevich solemnly presented the honorary medal “Kultegin” to Professor, Doctor of Law Beitov Murat Sadykovich.

The conference began with the registration of participants, after which the grand opening and greeting of all those present took place. The plenary session, held both offline and via videoconferencing, presented a variety of scientific reports covering a wide range of topics related to legal science and digitalization.

The conference was moderated by Bekturganov Abdimanap Elikbaevich, head of the department of constitutional and civil law of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. Among the speakers were Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Eurasian National University Smatlayev Baurzhan Mamytbekovich, Doctor of Law, Professor Alimbekov Musabek Turgynbekovich, Doctor of Law, Professor of the Jagiellonian University (Poland) Friederik Zoll, Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhatkanbaeva Aizhan Erzhanovna, Director of the European Institute of Legal Studies (Germany) Professor, Doctor of Law Hans Schulte-Nolke, Doctor of Law, Professor of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after. Abaya Taitorina Binur Adamovna, candidate of legal sciences Karbuzov Kozy-Korpesh Zhaparkhanovich, professor of the department of constitutional and civil law Nurgalieva E.N., Abdrassulov E.B., Makulbekov B.D., representative of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Parliament Kemalov Meirambay Tamabaevich, and as well as representatives from various countries, including doctors of law, professors, heads of organizations and scientists.

The conference ended with a discussion of the draft recommendation and summing up, after which a ceremonial closing took place. The participants were inspired by the exchange of experience, new ideas and prospects for the development of legal science in the era of digitalization.
