Republican subject Olympiad of students in the group of educational programs “B053 - Chemistry”

 April 24-26, 2024 at the Department of Chemistry of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of ENU named after L.N.Gumilev passed II stage of the subject Olympiad in offline format among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Olympiad was held at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of ENU named after L.N.Gumilev in 2 rounds.
1) The first round - theoretical, in which the participants of the Olympiad solved problems covering the following courses:
1. Inorganic chemistry
2. Organic Chemistry (with elements of physico-chemical methods of research)
3. Physical Chemistry
4. Analytical chemistry
The assignment includes tasks that are evaluated from 5 to 20 points. The maximum score is 100 points.
2) The second round - experimental, which was held in the laboratories of the Department of Chemistry.  Participants showed skills of titration, writing the equation of reactions, calculating the mass of substances and the correct registration of results. The maximum score was 100 points.
For participation in the Olympiad there were 8 teams from 7 universities, but one team could not participate. 
The competition committee having considered the results of the Olympiad in the individual championship decided:
1. To award Seidakhmed Nurdaulet Seidakhmeduly  with the Diploma I degree (L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University);
2. To award Mukanov Askar Maratovich Mukanov  with the Diploma II degree(Al-Farabi Kazakh National University);
3. To award Masagutov Tamerlan Yertaevich with the Diploma ІІ degree(L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University).
4. To award Oral Aruzhan Aydynkyzy  with the Diploma III degree (Karaganda Buketov University) ;
5. To award Sagidollah Dilnaz Bolatbekkyzy Diploma ІІІ degree (K.Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University);
6. To award Karimbayeva Zhanbike Erlankyzy Diploma ІІІ degree (Taraz Regional University named after M.H. Dulati);
Decided in team championship
1. Diploma І degree award the team “Brainstorm” L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University;
2.  Diploma ІІ degree award the team “Crystal” Karaganda Buketov University; 
3. Diploma IІІ degree to award the team “Triumph” M.H. Dulati Taraz Regional University.
