Educational program "Public Relations" - three times on the podium

The educational program "Public Relations" of the L. N. Gumilev Eurasian National University, the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science, the Department of Television and Radio and Public Relations in the 2023-2024 academic year rose to a high pedestal three times, where students showed excellent results.

From March 25 to March 30, 2024, 2nd year student Bekbulatov Alikhan, 3rd year students Tursunova Aruzhan, Salimzhan Dilnaz, Uaida Alua, 4th year student Nartaev Bakytzhan as part of the KÜLTEGIN team under the guidance of senior lecturer of the Department of Teleradio and Public Relations Algalieva Gulnazym Sakenovna took part in the international student festival "ZHOOGAZYN-2024" in Bishkek.

The international festival was attended by students from nine CIS universities such as Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn, Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. Yeltsin, Osh State University, Siberian State University named after M. Reshetov (Russia), Bishkek State University named after K. Karasaev, Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Altai State University (Russia). The KÜLTEGIN team of the L.N. Eurasian National University Gumilyova at the Professional Olympiad, held within the framework of the festival, took the I - II place in the team competition for solving cases presented by Mega companies for PR, Malika LLP, Kyrgyztelecom.

From April 22 to April 25 of this year, the NOMAD team, formed from 3rd year students Salimzhan Dilnaz, Tursynova Aruzhan, Nartaev Bakytzhan, Uaida Alua and Bekbulatov Alikhan, under the guidance of senior lecturer of the Department of Teleradio and Public Relations Algalieva Gulnazim Sakenovna, participated in the XXII All-Russian Interuniversity International Olympiad in Public Relations "Yarpiar"Siberian State University of Science and Technology named after M.F. Reshetnev in Krasnoyarsk in online format

Teams of 28 universities from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Bishkek, Astana, Tomsk, Irkutsk and other cities took part in the XXII All-Russian International Olympiad "Yarpiar" among universities teaching in the field of advertising and public relations.

The NOMAD team of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University demonstrated in-depth knowledge in the field of communication, as well as creative approaches to solving industry problems.  Thus, students in the team competition "Promotion of the region" in the nomination "Development of a branding strategy for the region" received a diploma of the II degree. In the individual championship, Salimzhan Dilnaz received diplomas of the II degree in the nomination "Analysis of communication projects" and "Open questions".

Also, on May 2-3, 2024, the XVI Republican Disciplinary Olympiad "Eurasian Digital PR – 2024" was held at the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science of the L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan studying in the specialty "6B03214 – Public Relations".

Al–Farabi Kazakh National University, Karaganda State University named after Academician Yevney Arystanovich Buketov, Almaty University of Management, Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov, Turan University took part in the XVI Republican subject Olympiad "Eurasian Digital PR - 2024".

This Olympiad was also held under the guidance of senior lecturer of the Department of Television and Radio and Public Relations Algalieva Gulnazim Sakenovna. Tursunova Aruzhan, Salimzhan Dilnaz, Dosova Aishi, Orynbasar Symbat who took part in the Olympiad from ENU named after L. N. Gumilyova, as part of the NOMAD team, deservedly received a diploma of the first degree, showing high knowledge and skills. Thus, students of the specialty "Public Relations" in 2024 participated twice in the international, once in the republican Olympiad, showing excellent results.
