Scientific seminar "Methodology of scientific research. Preparation of publications "

On March 14, 2024, the teacher-researcher of the Department of Chemistry, Ph.D. Safarov R.Z. held a scientific seminar on the topic "Methodology of scientific research. Preparing publications. " The following issues were discussed at the seminar:
1. Structure of the scientific publication: introduction, purpose of the study, methodology, results, discussion, conclusions, reference list.
2. Criteria for selecting a journal for publication: journal level, compliance with the research topic, requirements for article design.
3. Rules for the design of a scientific article: text formatting, design of tables and figures, citation rules and reference list.
4. Ethical aspects of publishing activities: avoiding plagiarism, mentioning all co-authors and funding organizations, compliance with conflict of interest rules.
This seminar was useful for students and researchers who want to master the basic principles of writing scientific articles and successfully publishing their research.
