The main Unified National testing continues

In accordance with the order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 16, 2024 № 231, the composition of the regional state commission for the organization of unified national testing in computer format was approved.

The regional state commission includes representatives of law enforcement agencies, public organizations, and the media.

This year, the main UNT lasts from May 16 to July 5. Nevertheless, in 6 regions where an emergency situation occurred (Akmola, Aktobe, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan regions) The UNT will be held from May 25 to July 12.

Applications for the UNT for 1 attempt were accepted from May 6 to May 10, for test takers from Akmola, Aktobe, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan regions from May 6 to May 13.  From May 11 to May 14, and for those tested in Akmola, Aktobe, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, Kostanay, and North Kazakhstan regions, registration for 2 attempts was carried out from May 14 to 20. Registration was carried out on the website of the National Testing Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (app.testcenter.kz ).

In the UNT-2024 testing format, participants complete 20 tasks in the history of Kazakhstan in terms of the number of test questions, 10 in reading literacy, 10 in mathematical literacy and 40 in two specialized subjects. There are 120 questions in total. The maximum number of points is 140. The total testing time is 4 hours (240 minutes).

The maximum number of points in specialized subjects at the UNT has been increased to 50. In addition, as a result of the test, it is necessary to score at least 3 points in reading and mathematical literacy. The threshold 5 points have been retained in the history of Kazakhstan and specialized subjects.

Graduates of secondary education institutions in 2024 take the test 2 times for free, applicants can submit the best UNT result to the grant competition.

To ensure safety during the UNT, a full inspection of the building is carried out daily.

According to the schedule, in the period from 05/16/2024 to 06/09/2024, control over the Unified National Testing is assigned to the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, testing is carried out at the Republican Testing Center «U-Study», located at the address: Astana, T. Zhurgenova str., 18/2.

During the testing period, the composition of the regional commission carries out measures to protect public order, the work of medical personnel and a psychologist, and the provision of support specialists to test subjects with disabilities.  The commission consists of Chairman of the Board-Rector Sydykov Yerlan, specialist of the career guidance department Saurykov Yerkebulan, as well as other representatives of the State Commission for the organization of the UNT.
