The Faculty of Social Sciences took part in the republican campaign "100 books for rural libraries"

        It is known that at the National Assembly held in March 2024, the head of state paid special attention to the issue of reading books. In his speech, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said: "First of all, we need to encourage young people to read books. Then we will become a mass-reading nation."

       "In fact, a nation that reads books becomes an intelligent nation. "We need to awaken the young generation's desire for books" and the general republican action "100 books to village libraries" was launched. In this regard, in order to support the educational initiative, the Faculty of Social Sciences of LN Gumilev Eurasian National University donated 200 books to village youth and children. Among the books there are the best works of Kazakh literature, educational works, children's literature, works of authors who are in demand in the school curriculum.
