
New Horizons in Research on Primary Education and Knowledge Assessment

Professor, candidate of pedagogical sciences Aigul Salieva visited the Pedagogical College of the Tyrol University (Pädagogische Hochschule Tirol University), Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna), University of Zurich (Universität Zürich).
The purpose of the scientific trip was to study the peculiarities of elementary school teachers' training; to understand the role of teacher training colleges in training qualified specialists for primary education; to familiarize with educational methods and knowledge assessment system used in primary education; to establish international cooperation and exchange of experience with colleagues from Austria and Switzerland.

During the study tour there were meetings with Associate Professors Dr. Christiane Schopf and Dr. Franz-Karl Skala, Dr. Mario Vutsch, Ingrid Hotarek, Norbert Waldner, Silvia Pixner and Hans Christian Ringer. The discussions focused on institutional perspectives and opportunities for future collaboration.
A visit to an elementary school at Pädagogische Hochschule Tirol University provided a practical insight into the educational methods and assessment systems used in primary education.
The research trip was an important step in the development of international cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of primary education and knowledge assessment, and also contributed to the deepening of research ties with colleagues from universities in Austria and Switzerland.
