
Professor of the Department of Thermal Power Engineering takes part in the international summer school GEM-SILKWAY







From June 24 to June 30, 2024 in Kyrgyzstan, on the picturesque Lake Issyk-Kul, in the Umut resort area of Osh State University, the GEM-SILKWAY international summer school is being held. Professor of the Department of Thermal Power Engineering Merzadinova Gulnara Tynyshbaeva takes part in this significant event, speaking as a speaker. The topic of her report is “Efficiency Use of Alternative Sources as a Backup Energy Source”.
The international summer school is organized by the University of Milan-Bicocca in partnership with the Eurasian National University named after L. N. Gumilyov and Osh State University. Summer school Green energy management - Silkway Central Asia Edition is held on the theme “Green energy and sustainability development” within the framework of the international consortium “SILKWAY”.
Among the students of this prestigious school there is also a doctoral student of the Department of Thermal Power Engineering, Makzumova Ainura Kazhiakparovna. The training covers about 20 participants from universities in Italy, Belgium, Finland, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Lectures by leading scientists from Italy, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan cover areas such as green economy management, energy finance, new trends in the green economy, energy geopolitics, the transition to decarbonization, artificial intelligence in green energy management.
The participation of our representatives in such a significant event emphasizes the high level of training of specialists from our department and their contribution to the development of sustainable energy in the international arena.
