
Graduate-2024: over 100 graduates of the Faculty of Social Sciences graduated from the university with honours

The L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted a graduation ceremony for graduates of the Faculty of Social Sciences. This year, 302 students graduated, including 212 bachelors and 90 masters by fields, 113 graduates received diplomas with honors.
The Faculty of Social Sciences is one of the leading structures of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. Training of personnel with higher and postgraduate education according to the state educational order is carried out according to 31 education programs at three levels.
In 2024, the faculty increased its positions in subjects in the QS World University Rankings, taking 150th place among the Arts and Humanities, Sociology -256th place, Pedagogy - 351-400th place.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Vice-Rector for Finance and Infrastructure Nazgul Aidargaliyeva, General Manager of Rixos President Astana Tansel Tercan, Adviser to the Minister of Science and Higher Education Zhamilya Nurmanbetova, official representative of Chevron Astana Talgat Unaibayev, Deputy Director of the branch of Moscow State University Raushan Abdildina, Deputy Director of the Institute of Public Policy of the AMANAT Party Serik Akhmetzhanov, Director of the Labor Mobility Center of the numicipal akimat Olzhas Omar, Head of the branch of the Kazakhstan Rugby Federation in Astana, Sayat Dyussenov, President of the Kazakhstan Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Evgeny Yan. They expressed warm congratulations to the graduates and presented them with diplomas, a certificate of honor and a letter of thanks from the university rector.
"The Faculty of Social Sciences is one of the largest faculties of our university. This year, many graduates are leaving this faculty. I am sure that in the future you will achieve great success and become a qualified specialist on a professional path. I wish you a good journey," Vice-Rector said.
The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Baubek Somzhurek, invited graduates of the bachelor's studies to enroll in the master’s program.
"As you know, the Eurasian National University has the status of a research university, our university is a leader in the field of modern education and science. Therefore, in the future, I urge graduates to improve their knowledge in the master's studies and thus contribute to domestic science," the dean of the faculty said.
