ENU-2024 Admissions Committee: a start of the submission of documents for state grants
The allocated state educational grants for the 2024-2025 academic year this year, including bachelor’s and master’s studies, exceed 92 thousand. This is 14% more than last year. Of these, more than 79,000 are for bachelor’s degrees, that is, engineering and information technology, processing and construction, and pedagogy. In particular, 13,735 grants are allocated for training bachelors of pedagogical sciences, 8,288 grants in natural sciences, 10,903 grants in information and communication technologies, 19,344 grants in engineering, processing and construction, etc.
ENU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ardak Beisenbai congratulated the parents who came to apply for state grants and wished the applicants good luck.
“Your children have left school and entered a new life. Let these steps begin with the Eurasian National University, let these steps be positive, let every day be full of joy. We are waiting for each of you at the university. The Eurasian National University will create all conditions for your children,” Vice-Rector. said.
In the admissions committee, you can meet not only applicants and technical secretaries, but also deans of faculties and heads of departments, professors. They provide detailed information to applicants who have chosen their faculty, and advise them not to make a mistake in choosing a profession.
“Today, on July 13, the acceptance of documents for a state educational grant began. Documents for participation in the competition for the award of state educational grants are accepted between July 13-20. For applicants of the flood zone (Akmola, Aktobe, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan region, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan region) documents are accepted between July 13 and 24. Any applicant can apply to all higher education institutions in Kazakhstan, and this is also done online. The distribution of state grants for education is determined by the decision of the commission established by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The results will be published on the pages of republican periodicals and on websites until August 1. Educational grants are provided on a competitive basis based on the results of the UNT. The result of the grant will be regulated by the choice of the applicant indicated in the application when choosing groups of educational programs," - Lazzat Yegeubayeva, Executive Secretary of the ENU Admissions Committee said.
