“Kazakstan Khalkyna” Fund awarded grants for training at ENU

The Public Fund “Kazakstan Khalkyna” within the framework of the charitable program “Educational Grants of the EF “Kazakstan Khalkyna” allocated 15 educational grants for applicants to full-time bachelor’s programs of ENU.  Applicants can apply for a competitive basis for a group of education programs.

Educational grants can be given to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the following categories:

1) small families in rural areas, small and monotowns;

2) orphaned children or children left without parental care until they reach the age of majority;

3) citizen with disability; 

4) family of disabled children;

5) children of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who died in the tragic events of January 2022;

6) children injured during the tragic events of January 2022.  

The age limit for participation in the program is 29 years.

The documents for participation in the competition are submitted to the university Admissions Committees between August 10-17.

Applicants who have scored a threshold score for admission according to the UNT results (including taking into account creative exams) can participate in the competition for awarding educational grants. The list of applicants who will be awarded the grant is approved by the Management Board of the Fund. At the same time, the foundation considers a candidate only for compliance with the program criteria.

Holders of an educational grant are paid tuition fees up to 1 million KZT per academic year and a monthly scholarship of 40,000 KZT for the entire duration of their studies. The scholarship is paid for 10 months (annually), with the exception of the summer holidays.

Note:

1. An educational grant is a nominal grant given once.

2. Obtaining an educational grant for a second higher education is not allowed.

3. The educational grant is terminated in the case of:

– expulsion at will; 
– expulsion due to low academic performance; 
– a repeated year of a student’s studies;
– providing questionable information and/or unreliable documents confirming the participation of the educational grant holder in the program.
