"Japan is a friendly country for us and we highly value our bilateral relations. The government of our country pays active attention to the development of science. In 2022, ENU acquired the status of a research university and now we are focused on strengthening scientific potential, training a large number of highly qualified scientists, and developing collaboration with world scientific schools. In this regard, we are interested in establishing cooperation with your company in the field of opening joint laboratories, training specialists who will work on new equipment, organizing joint courses, workshops, showrooms, etc. I hope that our partnership will grow into a long-term friendship for the benefit of our countries," Yerlan Sydykov noted.
In turn, Kazuyoshi Matsukaze, President of Hitachi High-Tech Europe GmbH, stressed that together with the Eurasian National University they are ready to create an opportunity for Kazakhstani schoolchildren to study science at the university and acquire the skills of a future scientist.
"I would like to make the laboratory at the university more attractive through our further cooperation program to prevent the outflow of talented people abroad. Because we, Hitachi, have a lot of analytical know-how and will consider the possibility of software cooperation with the university and Hitachi," the representative of one of the world’s largest companies said.
