As part of the large-scale environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan. Astana - a model of cleanliness and order" and World Cleanup Day, a citywide cleanup day was held in the capital this weekend, on September 21.
As part of the cleanup day, the city territory was cleared of garbage, parks, squares, courtyards, as well as areas adjacent to trade, catering and other organizations were cleaned.
As part of the large-scale eco-campaign, over 2 thousand green spaces were planted.
The main goal of the eco-campaign is to attract public attention to the issues of maintaining cleanliness on the city streets and the formation of an environmental culture.
First-year students of the EE&B-12 group also made their contribution to improving the improvement of streets and courtyards, who, together with other students of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, took an active part in this important citywide event.
