On October 19, at 10:00, an Open Day was held at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, organized for graduates of schools in Astana. The event attracted a large number of students interested in studying natural sciences and planning to continue their studies at one of the leading universities in the country.
The Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Eurasian National University was established in 2009 and over the 15 years of its existence has become one of the dynamically developing faculties of the university. Today, the faculty offers unique opportunities to study disciplines such as chemistry, biology, biotechnology, ecology, geography and hydrology. Students can choose bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs that meet the modern requirements of science and technology.
At the Open Day, schoolchildren and their parents were able to get acquainted with the educational programs of the faculty, visit laboratories and classrooms, as well as personally communicate with teachers and students. The participants were presented with the latest research and achievements of the faculty, as well as demonstrated curricula and projects in which future students can participate.
The faculty implements 30 educational programs, including 10 bachelor's degree programs, 15 master's degree programs and 5 doctoral programs. One of the key features of the faculty is close cooperation with international partners, which allows students to participate in joint research projects and exchange programs. An important role is also played by the high level of training of the teaching staff — the average degree at the faculty is 85%.
Also during the event, students learned about the high level of employment of graduates.
The Open Day of the Faculty of Natural Sciences was an excellent opportunity for future students to get to know the university better, learn more about career prospects in the field of natural sciences and get answers to all their questions. The faculty's teaching staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism, willingness to share knowledge and develop students' scientific interests.
The Faculty of Natural Sciences invites all school graduates to join the educational process and become part of the scientific community, which strives for high achievements and innovations in science.
