
ENU employees received state awards on the Republic Day

The staff of the Eurasian National University received state awards on Republic Day for their achievements in education and science.
The awards were presented by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek.
"Our President attaches special importance to the Republic Day. Unfortunately, our society does not fully understand the value of independence. If our people do not appreciate this gift, it may be taken away from us. As we can see, there are a lot of conflicts in the world. Therefore, I wish everyone to appreciate independence," Minister said.
ENU Rector Yerlan Sydykov called this day special for the field of science and education.
"We see the true assistance of the state to education and science. This confirms that the famous Kazakh mathematician was awarded the title “Kazakhstannyn Enbek Eri”.
The issue of dormitories has been resolved 100%. 23 branches of foreign universities operate in Kazakhstan. This is the beginning of fundamental changes," the scientist explained.
Vice prezident of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, mathematician Askar Dzhumadildayev told about the history of the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the formation of the country.
At the end of the event, students of ENU creative teams presented a bright concert to the public.
