
The International Central Asian Investment Forum on the Implementation of Green Technologies was held at ENU

On October 21, 2024, the International Central Asian Investment Forum on the theme "Implementation of the latest production and resource-saving technologies in the Green Economy of Central Asia" was held at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The event was organized by the International Council for the Implementation of Renewable Energy Sources of Central Asian States together with partners.

In the context of global environmental challenges and climate change, the countries of Central Asia are paying increasing attention to sustainable development issues. The forum brought together leading experts, scientists, public figures and representatives of government agencies who discussed the possibilities of transition to a green economy.

The Chairman of the Committee on Ecology and Nature Management, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanbyrshin E.T. addressed the participants with an opening speech. The Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurbek Sayasat sent a Welcome Address.
The forum discussed the most important issues related to alternative energy, water resources, ecology, resource-saving technologies and agricultural efficiency. Participants presented scientific ideas and projects aimed at solving these pressing problems, and also made proposals for consolidating the scientific potential of the region.
Following the forum, it was decided to discuss the draft Resolution with the scientific community and send an appeal to the heads of state of Central Asia.

The event was moderated by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic Obozov A.D., Head of the Laboratory of Renewable Energy Sources of the Institute of Automation and Mechanical Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. One of the organizers of the forum was Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Thermal Power Engineering, Director of the Research Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Efficient Technologies Alimgazin Altai Shurumbaevich.
