
ENU ranked 65th in the QS Asia University Rankings 2025





Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov has improved its position, rising 6 places to take 65th place, demonstrating the best result in the history of participation in this ranking.
ENU continues its confident advancement in the top 100 universities in Asia, demonstrating positive dynamics in all key indicators. The university increases the values of the calculated indicators for the “Citations per Paper”, “International Research Network”, “Staff with PhD”, “Inbound Exchange Students”. ENU's high indicators for the Ratio of the number of faculty and students (94.8 points out of 100 possible), Reputation among employers (94.8), the Share of foreign faculty (93.3), and Academic reputation (86.5) deserve special mention. It is worth noting that ENU is among the top 50 Asian universities in terms of “International Faculty Ratio” (41st place), “Faculty Student Ratio” (42nd place), “Employer Reputation” (44th place) and “Academic Reputation” (50th place).
The new edition of the ranking of the best universities in Asia includes 985 higher education institutions from 25 countries and territories, including 35 from Kazakhstan. The ranking methodology contains reputational and scientometric indicators, as well as indicators related to internationalization and graduate achievements.
From 5 to 7 November, the ENU delegation is participating in the QS Higher Education Summit Asia Pacific 2024, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Over two decades, this Summit has become a meeting place for heads of government bodies, rectors of leading higher education institutions, authoritative scientists and researchers, and heads of international corporations. The day before, Kazakhstan became the host of the Asia-Pacific Pre-Summit, which was held in Almaty on November 1. ENU is participating in the Asia-Pacific Summit for the fourth time. Before that, the university was a participant in exhibitions held within the framework of the Summits in Taipei (Taiwan), Fukuoka (Japan), Seoul (South Korea), which significantly influenced the increase in recognition of our university in the region and the strengthening of cooperation with universities in China, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia.
