The L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted a meeting with poet, laureate of the State Prize, holder of the "Kurmet" Order Akushtap Baktygereyeva, organized by the Cultural and Educational Society "Kausar".
The creative evening of A.Baktygereyeva made the gathered poetry lovers and young people think, struck their minds with beautiful words. The unique appearance and character of the poet with a high personality will create a different atmosphere in the hall. The students read the poetess’ poems and sang songs written to her words.
It is known that Zeinolla Kabdolov gave his assessment to the Zhaiyk poetess, saying: "When I say "Ural", three girls come to mind: one is Kyz Zhibek, the second is Manshuk, the third is Akushtap Baktygereyeva."
The meeting, which was held by the Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kenzhegali Myrzykbai, was attended by government and public figures, poets, writers, scientists and students.
Akushtap Baktygereyeva says that, rocking the cradle, she writes poetry without looking at the bustle of a stormy home life, and that "it is twice as difficult for us women to hold a pen than for men."
"I'm eighty today, and I'm not going to brag to you on stage. This year we had a flood, people were tired. Then I thought that when it was over, I would be able to see it. Thank Allah, everything fell into place, people did not die, houses were rebuilt, material damage was reimbursed to the affected residents. Then the Minister of Culture and Information asked me if I would come to Astana.
Today, the presentation of my book "Menin Farizam" took place at the National Library of Astana, and after its release I came here to meet and give my parting words to the student youth. There is no one in the world more beautiful than Kazakhstani girls. Be happy, my dears!" poet Akushtap Baktygereyeva said.
At the end of the evening, artists of the West Kazakhstan region and the head of the Cultural and Educational Society "Kausar" Kenzhegali Myrzykbai performed works by Kazakh composers.
