The opening of the I International Summer School “Global and regional dimensions of soft power of the European Union”

The opening ceremony was attended by Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ardak Beisenbai, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations Miras Kossybaev, Project Coordinator Zhanar Medeubaeva.

In his speech, Vice-Rector Ardak Beisenbai noted the importance of the participation of the university teaching staff in international projects, which not only increase the academic reputation, but also have an important image value for the entire activity of the university.

Dean Miras Kossybaev wished the organizers and participants of the Summer School successful work and excellent results.

Project Coordinator Zhanar Mtdeubaeva introduced the participants to the goals of the entire Project and also the Summer School itself, about the planned speeches of the speakers, and also gave the first lecture on the topic “Soft power of the EU in the field of education and science: the effect on the states of Central Asia.”
