
ENU hosted a meeting of the 1st year elders with the university administration







At ENU, a meeting between first-year group leaders and the university administration was held organized by the «Council of Group Leaders».
The “Council of Group Leaders” has been active since 2016. Group leaders not only monitor students’ academic performance, attendance, and discipline but also contribute to improving the quality of education.
In honor of the 8th anniversary of the “Council of Group Leaders,” a meeting was held between first-year group leaders and the university administration. During the meeting, information about the educational process and student life was presented to the students. ENU Rector Yerlan Sydykov congratulated the group leaders on this special occasion and highlighted the significant role they play in university life, particularly their responsibility in organizing the educational process and their dedication to protecting students’ interests.
During the meeting of the first-year group leaders, several reports prepared by university officials were presented.
The chairman of the “Council of Group Leaders,” A. Adibai, discussed the main goals and objectives of the council and highlighted the work done on academic issues and the educational process over the past 8 years.
The Director of the Department for Academic Affairs, B. Kashkhynbai, presented a report on the university’s educational process and shared key information that students need to know.
The Director of the Department for Social and Civic Development, Zh. Tlepov, provided a detailed overview of the department’s work, including social projects and student initiatives.
Expert of the Department for Science and Certification of Scientific Personnel, S. Kylyshpaeva, delivered a report on the department’s work related to the educational process and science.
The expert of the Academic Mobility Sector, A. Karabalaeva, gave a presentation on the university’s academic mobility program.
The Director of the Directorate of Student Residences, A. Jumataev, explained the rules and regulations for living in student residences.
Chief psychologist of the Psychological Support Center, Zh. Moldakhmetov, shared insights on the center’s activities and psychological assistance services.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ardak Beysenbai awarded ENU pins to the new members of the “Council of Group Leaders” and wished them success in their future work.
