An open lesson on "Kazakhstan during the October Revolution and the establishment of Soviet power"

On November 8, 2024, senior lecturer of the Department of History of Kazakhstan of the Faculty of History Yerdenbekova Zhanar Seitkalievna held an open lesson for 1st-year students of the Faculty of Information Technology on the subject "History of Kazakhstan" at the non-historical Faculty. The open lesson was attended by the head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, PhD, associate professor K.O. Seitkazina and senior lecturer B. Muratbekovna.
The topic of the open lesson is "Kazakhstan during the October Revolution and the establishment of Soviet power." Since it is a lecture, the task of the teacher is to ensure that students understand and accept the topic in the first place. To do this, you need to be able to use different methods. Therefore, one of these popular methods was considered in the lesson. The method of "brainstorming" is considered one of the most suitable ways to conduct a lecture. Its purpose is to provide students with information and problematic issues related to the topic so that they can think about it. The effectiveness of the method is to develop students' thinking that allows them to solve problems by asking questions and allowing them to openly express their thoughts through a survey. The main problem is that the teacher must ensure the free expression of the student's opinion and not subject him to any criticism. Thanks to this technique, by asking questions, you can reveal the topic of the lesson.
During the lesson, various videos on the topic, photos of figures taken from various archival collections were shown through slides.
