ENU Vice-Rector took part in a meeting with representatives of the leading universities of Kazakhstan in Kyrgyzstan

Vice-Rector for Social and Cultural Development of the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University Lyazat Tolegenkyzy took part in the meeting of the first Vice-Rector – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Zhussup Balasagyna Kyrgyz National University Alaibek Shamshiyev with representatives of leading universities of Kazakhstan, held in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan).

The Kazakhstani delegation included:

Alibek Madibekov, Acting Director of the National Center for the Development of Higher Education;

Lyazat Tolegenkyzy – Member of the management Board, Vice-Rector for Social and Cultural Development of the  L.N. Gumilyov ENU;

Mainura Buribayeva – Member of the management Board, Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations of the Korkyt- Ata Kyzylorda University.

Al Farabi Tileuli – expert of the Scientific Research Coordination Office of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

During the meeting, prospects for cooperation between higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in the field of science, education and international projects, issues of strengthening ties within the framework of the University 4.0 concept, namely: joint education programs, including dual degree programs; academic mobility of students and teachers; organization of joint scientific research and publications; implementation of innovative approaches to learning within the framework of the "University 4.0" model; the development of digital technologies in educational processes. The importance of integrating efforts in the field of transformation of educational processes was noted.

Following the meeting, agreements were reached on further cooperation and the development of joint projects aimed at developing the scientific and educational potential of universities in Central Asia.
