"Corruption – Society's Disease: On the Path to Honesty and Justice"
On November 22, 2024, an advisory hour titled “Corruption – Society’s Disease: On the Path to Honesty and Justice” was conducted with the participation of Group B-32. The event aimed to raise students' awareness of corruption, its impact on society, and possible ways to combat this phenomenon.
During the session, a presentation was delivered, covering key aspects of corruption, including its definition, types, examples, and consequences for society. Special attention was paid to the legislative measures implemented in the Republic of Kazakhstan to address corruption. Participants actively engaged in discussions, sharing their views on how each individual can contribute to building a corruption-free society.
The discussion revealed that many attendees understand the importance of honesty and justice in daily life. Students noted that legal literacy and the cultivation of moral values play a key role in combating corruption. Suggestions from participants included raising public awareness through social media, organizing educational events, and promoting personal responsibility in all circumstances.
The event concluded with a call to develop active civic engagement and adhere to principles of honesty and justice in everyday life. Participants emphasized that such meetings help individuals recognize their role in building a fairer society.
