
A student of the Faculty of Journalism of Social Sciences became the holder of the title «ENU Names its Kultegin»

The traditional song contest "Kultegin-2024" was held at the L.N.Gumilev Eurasian National University. The winner of the competition was the 1st year student of the Faculty of Journalism and Social Sciences Yerkezhan Sansyzbai. She was awarded the title "ENU Kultegin".
The traditional "Kultegin – 2024" poetry contest has taken place, where first-year student of the Faculty of Journalism and Social Sciences, Erkzhan Sansyzbay, was awarded the title of "ENU Kultegin."
This traditional event, launched in 2021, continued this year as well. Organized by the university's Student Alliance, the poetry contest was held for the fourth time.
Out of nearly 100 students representing 13 faculties, 10 finalists competed in the final round. They demonstrated their skills by reciting the "Kultegin" epic in the version proposed by Mirzatay Zholdasbek and answered questions during the Q&A session.
The jury was chaired by Doctor of Philology and Professor Serik Negimov. According to the contest results, the title of "ENU Kultegin" was awarded to first-year student of the Faculty of Journalism and Social Sciences, Erkzhan Sansyzbay, who received a cash prize of 100,000 tenge. The second place went to second-year student of the Faculty of Philology, Kundyz Bolatbek, with a prize of 50,000 tenge. The third place was claimed by first-year student of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Dilnaz Ayapbergen, who was awarded 30,000 tenge.
Additionally, the "Audience Choice Award" was given to fourth-year student of the Faculty of Philology, Altai Zholdybai. For the first time this year, a special prize named after Turkologist Karzhaubai Sartkozhauly was introduced and awarded to first-year student of the Faculty of International Relations, Shugyla Kydyraly. Both received a cash prize of 20,000 tenge.
