B. Mailin - master of Kazakh storytelling

On November 26 in the reading hall № 12 was held a literary evening dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh writer, poet, playwright, one of the founders of Kazakh literature - Beimbet Zharmagambetuly Mailin - "B.Mailin-kazak angimesinin khas sheberi".

During the event, guests spoke about the immeasurable contribution of Beimbet Mailin to Kazakh literature, culture and history, as well as the longevity of his works, contribution and role in the formation of national identity, influence on national culture.

Students from the Faculty of Philology, Science and History participated in the event. Excerpts from the poet's poems were read by students M. Muratzhanova and A. Serikbai.

At the end of the evening, the guests familiarized themselves with the exhibition of the novelist's books, prepared by the staff of the reading hall.
