Intellectual game "My Kazakhstan!"

On December 7, 2024, the Department of Practical Kazakh Language organized an intellectual game titled "My Kazakhstan!" Participants included members of the "Kazakh Language" club, founded by the department, including international students from Turkmenistan, as well as first-year students from the "Architecture," "Foreign Philology," and "Geography" specialties.
The event, held in celebration of Kazakhstan's Independence Day, began with the performance of a traditional piece on the dombra, the national instrument of the Kazakh people. Student Amet Asanjan from the group AJOZ-14 masterfully performed the piece "Erke Sylkym," leaving a strong impression on the international students.
To acquaint participants with the history of Kazakhstan's independence, students from group Gg-12, including A. Akhmetkalieva, Zh. Betbai, Zh. Tөleu, and N. Yesaly, presented engaging and informative crosswords accompanied by a slide presentation.
Students from the "Foreign Languages" group, A. Serikbekkyzy, A. Turgambekova, and M. Shozhanova, organized an intellectual game that introduced participants to the history, culture, literature, and traditions of the Kazakh people. The game was conducted in a team competition format, adding a competitive spirit to the event.
Additionally, students from group АРХ-14 — Ә. Akylbek, S. Galymova, and Zh. Akhambetov — conducted a quiz using the "Kahoot" application, which creatively highlighted the event's theme.
Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Philological Sciences A.T. Ashenova, noted the active participation of students in the Q&A session, emphasizing that such intellectual games contribute to the study of key issues of the country and help students develop language skills and improve communication in the Kazakh language.
