The results of the competition for prizes in the field of science, state scientific scholarships in 2024 and the «Best Researcher – 2024» competition have been announced

On October 24, 2024, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, based on article 31 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Science and Technological Policy", paragraph 15.148 of Resolution No. 580 of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 19, 2022, announced a competition for prizes in the field of science and state scientific scholarships.

According to the results of the competition, state scientific scholarships were awarded as follows:

Leading scientists

Zhussupbekov Askar - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Civil Engineering (FAC);

Myrzakulov Kairat– Сandidate, Associate Professor of the Department of General and Theoretical Physics (PhTSI);

Sembieva Lyazzat - Doctor of Economics, Professor, Chairman of the Department of State Audit (FE).

Young scientists

Kusainova Asiya - Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Senior Researcher of the Institute of Cell Biology and Biotechnology (NSF)

The establishment of the annual award “Best Researcher” has become another measure of support for scientists from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is aimed at supporting and encouraging scientists and researchers who have made significant contributions to the development of science and technology.

The Republican Competition Commission decided to award “Best Researcher - 2024” to Esim Garifolla, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of the Department of Philosophy (FJSS), Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
