The delegation from the Department of Chemistry at ENU visited Karaganda University named after E.A. Buketov to strengthen scientific cooperation.

On January 13, 2025, the Head of the Department of Chemistry at L.N. Gumilyov ENU, Eldar Ertaevich Kopishev, and researcher Ruslan Zairovich Safarov, together with doctoral students of the "8D05306 Chemistry" program, Yerlan A. Baikenov and Ayat Sabitov, visited Buketov Karaganda University.

The main goal of the visit was to conduct joint research using KarU's modern instrumental facilities, strengthen scientific ties, and establish long-term partnerships between the universities.

At Karaganda University, the ENU delegation was welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Science, Erkeblan Muratovich Tazhbayev, and the Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, Marat Kirimbaevich Ibraev. The guests were given a tour of the university’s equipment park, where they were introduced to state-of-the-art scientific instruments and the main research directions conducted by KarU scientists.

During the visit, the participants discussed prospects for joint scientific projects, including the possibility of utilizing the instrumental bases of both universities, as well as cooperation in publications and training of highly qualified specialists.

The visit to Karaganda University marked an important step in strengthening scientific collaboration and expanding partnership ties. It opens new opportunities for conducting advanced research and training high-level professionals in the field of chemistry.
