
University of Reading is interested in innovative educational technologies of ENU at the BETT 2025 exhibition





The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU) attracted considerable attention at the international exhibition of educational technologies BETT 2025 in London. Representatives of the University of Reading (Berkshire, England) showed particular interest in a number of advanced digital learning solutions presented by ENU, including a wide range of massive open online courses (MOOCs), an innovative inclusive guide and the integrated Smart.ENU platform. Representatives of the University of Reading noted the potential of these technologies to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
"All universities today face similar challenges: These are digitalization, the development of inclusive education and internationalization," says Professor Yota Dimitriadi, an expert in the field of e–learning, ICT and robotics in higher and postgraduate education.
"We will be working on a joint project between our universities and look forward to working closely together."
The ENU delegation, led by Vice-Rector for Digitalization Gulmira Bekmanova, demonstrated the university's commitment to digital innovation in education.
«We are pleased with the positive response to our technologies received at BETT 2025, - said the Vice–rector.
- The University of Reading's interest in our MOOCs, inclusive guide, and Smart. ENU platform demonstrates the potential of these tools on a global scale and confirms that ENU is moving in the right direction."
It is worth noting that the University of Reading is a reliable partner for Kazakhstani scientists. At the moment, a number of ENU professors are undergoing scientific internships there: Utemurat Sagyndykov, Nuriya Omarova (Faculty of Natural Sciences), Zhanar Dyusembina (Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics), Anuar Alkeev (Faculty of International Relations) and Bagysh Gabdullina (Faculty of Journalism and Political Science).
The interaction between ENU and the University of Reading opens up prospects for future cooperation, including the possible exchange of best practices and joint development of educational content. This interaction underlines ENU's commitment to share its experience and contribute to the global development of educational technologies.
