ENU at the digital forum "Digital Almaty 2025"

Nurzada Amangeldy, researcher at the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, presented a startup to develop a set of intelligent sign language resources to improve communication among people with disabilities at the international digital forum "Digital Almaty 2025: Industrial AI: technologies for a new era". Her participation was organized with the support of the Innovation Development Department.

Marat Konkanov, Director of the NPC ENU-LAB, and Saltanat Bekturganova, Chief Specialist of the ENU Innovation Development Department, also took part in the digital forum in Almaty in order to interact between academic, entrepreneurial and business structures. According to them, it is very important to develop the integration of academic and business structures for the effective implementation of innovative technologies and the development of the IT ecosystem in Kazakhstan.

It should be noted that from January 31 to February 1, 2025, Almaty hosted the international digital forum "Digital Almaty 2025", dedicated to the development of artificial intelligence technologies in industry. The main topic of the forum was the introduction of solutions in the field of Industrial AI, advanced technologies that allow automating and optimizing complex production processes.

Experts, entrepreneurs and technology specialists from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) participated in the discussion of the topic.

The Industry 4.0 AI Battle competition was held within the framework of the forum, in which startups in the field of artificial intelligence competed for the title of the best in their category.

The largest Kazakhstani subsoil users, industrial startups, technology parks and technology companies also demonstrated their developments in the field of the IT ecosystem.
